Purpose for This Website
Kelly J. Condron (Mr.)
Dear Friend, Critic, Visitor,
Skeptic, or Brethren,
Email responses to this web page have
confirmed the need to explain the primary purpose for the information contained
in it. The Bible Believers' Resource Page was created to provide born-again
believers with a variety of resources to assist them in contending for the faith
(Jude 3). Christendom, from this writer's perspective, is in a state of
confusion because many have departed from the clear teaching of Scripture. To
all that are critical of resources which appear "harsh", I would urge
you to read Paul's instructions to Timothy (1st and 2nd Timothy) and his warning
to those who would preach another gospel (Galatians 1:6-9).
In these days of ecumenism, pleas for unity, and
well-intentioned "lets just all love one another", sound doctrine is
viewed by many as being divisive, harsh, and not that important. Sound doctrine
is divisive, dividing truth from error, good from evil. We are to speak the
truth in love, but we are to speak the truth. Believers are instructed to "Preach
the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine" (2 Tim 4:2). It is not love to
tell a Roman Catholic that Catholicism preaches the same gospel that the
apostles preached. I spent 18 years in the Roman Catholic Church and another 8
years in apostate mainline denominational churches (United Methodist and United
Congregational Church of Christ) and never heard the pure gospel proclaimed. Was
it love not to have told me that I was a sinner, on my way to hell, and in need
of trusting in Christ alone for my salvation? Was it love not to have warned me
that trusting in sacraments, penance, and last-rites would not save me? Was it
love not to have told me that the UMC and UCC were members of the Religious
Coalition for Abortion Rights? Was it love not to tell me that these churches
did not teach and practice biblical truth? Of course it wasn't! This sinner
found salvation not through experience, not through sacraments or works, but
through the Word of God, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
What about the criticisms that call warnings and reproof
divisive and unloving? Jesus said "Think not that I am come to
send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set
a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and
the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of
his own household." What is this sword that causes such
division? It is truth, God's Word. Jesus always spoke pure truth. You cannot
mislead and love. You cannot lie and love. But you can speak the truth in love
and this is the purpose of the Bible Believers' Resource Page.
I make no claims of having any "corner on the
truth" because I am a fallible man with the same limitations as others.
There is only one source of spiritual truth, the Bible. Test everything you read
in the references provided on this website against Scripture. A believer's only
firm foundation and standard for the truth is the Bible. It is from God's revealed
Word alone that we must discern that which is in accordance with His will and
that which is contrary to His will. Test everything according to His Word.
If you are not absolutely sure that you are going to
heaven when you die, you can be sure. Please read Have
You Considered This? before reading anything else on this
web site.
Your comments, positive and negative, are always welcome.
May the Lord keep you in His truth and give you the discernment to flee
from error, apostasy, false teachers and those who would keep you in bondage
with another gospel; that you may be a faithful
witness for the Gospel, the one true Gospel, so that the lost might be saved.

"Charity suffereth
long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not
puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily
provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the
truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all
things. Charity never faileth..." 1 Cor 13:4-8
